
2. Use the run sugar method to decorate the top of your cookies with icing that you have colored with a very small amount of Blue food colour.
3. Sprinkle any or all of the cookies with the following before the run sugar icing dries: Blue Crystal Sugar, White Crystal Sugar, White Non-pareils or Snowflake Quins .
4. Allow to dry thoroughly.
5. Then use regular royal icing and pipe swags or tree limbs using a #2 plain round tip and dip your cookie in Kingz Blingz Silver Crystalz before the piped royal icing dries. Pipe extra snowballs with white royal icing if desired.
**To make icing for this run sugar method, make a batch of royal icing. Thin it down with warm water. To test for the correct consistency, let a drop of thinned-down royal icing drop from your spatula back into the royal icing that is in the bowl. If the drop disappears by the count of 10, the royal icing is of the correct consistency.
